I'm wondering if its possible to get my vista media centre synchronising my itunes library and photos (in aperture) and imovie content from my macbook pro? I dont want to stream it using network shares, I want the vista box to keep a complete sync'd up copy of the files on the macbook so they would play normally. I'd like the sync to perhaps check periodically for changes and move them etc.
Any ideas?
My initial thought, was using robocopy/synctoy on the vista box to access a share on the macbook and just yank all the files down. I'm just feeling there might be a better way? and i'm also wondering how I would get the photos in aperture or the imovie content? will they even play on vista?
Does the media centre in Win7 have any features in this area?
I've also considered an AppleTV but the vista box also has downloaded mkv's/avi's etc on it which i'd like to play and i'm not sure it would work.
