well there i was bored today and thought i would try and download this windows media connect thing so i downloaded the file installed it then ran it. to cut a long story short. now i am running the software and it keeps coming up failed to authorize xbox 360. what does this mean and how do i fix it. any help appreciated. johnno

I tried for ages and couldn't get it working. Download a free app called TVersity and use that, it worked straight away for me and WMC or WMP11 wouldn't work at all.

I had this problem as well, then realised I already had wmp 11 installed and the role of windows media connect is covered in that by the library sharing function.

So I stopped trying to install it, set up wmp 11 and sharing worked great.
