Im looking for some system component advice to build a windows media centre PC.

I intend to use this media PC to:

1. serve high defintion digital (freeview) television and video to a widescreen LCD monitor (replacing my CRT TV). It should also be capable of concurrently driving a smaller LCD monitor for traditional 'computing' services (wordprocessing etc).
2. audio connect to an existing NAIM NAIT analogue integrated stereo amplifier.
3. Connect wirelessly to my existing 54Mbps network (NETGEAR ADSL WIRELESS ROUTER DG834GT). This currently hosts a network storage device (NETGEAR SC101). I will probably upgrade my existing wireless router in the next 12 months (RangeMax Next) so an add-in wireless solution is probably best.

It would be useful to have as much 'remote' control as possible:
4. must be able to remote switch TV channels, and ideally media control (selecting audio or video files)
5. must have remote (cable-less) keyboard and mouse

I expect to use my existing network storage device to cater for the bulk of my file storage needs, so don’t need a very large local drive.

I’m not into gaming. This needn’t factor as a requirement, but it would be useful to see a component spec which would accommodate this, as an option.

The widescreen LCD monitor should be a min 22". It would be useful if it had an S-Video input so that I could connect my existing DVD player (Nakamichi DVD10s) - though not sure if I would need to do this anymore if the video and audio outputs from the PC are comparable to the Nakamichi.

Any advice appreciated
Thanks
