Windows Media Edition - Install problems

HI

just tried to install Windows Media Edition.

RAID 5 set up so had the Raid floppy

all ok....
wanted to install op system on separate HD

it wanted to format the new HD so I left it to get on....

all seemed ok...but over 1hr....I came back to it and then it said system reboot please remove floppy...etc

then system rebooted and started to install Windows from scratch again and when came to where to install it claimed that there was an operating system already on there....

this is strange...

also I have only used Disk 1 from Windows Media

I have disk 2 and also 2005 updates....
what order should they be installed and how long does a new install normally take.???

if you've got a legit MCE key, during the install it will ask for the 2nd disc

Sounds like it's booting off the CD again after it reboots. When it reboots after copying the files over, it will ask you to 'Press any key to boot from CD...'- don't touch anything and it will boot the setup program off your hard drive
