Windows Media Encoder - Queueing jobs

Is it possible to queue jobs for encoding using WME or a version of it? I know if windows media encoder assistant, but it's $40 and I'm after something free

Any tips?

Yeah found that before, but it needs compiling, and I must admit I'm not sure what I'm doing there.

EDIT: Actually, I might be talking rubbish.......

OK, that works but doesn't allow me to change some options that I need to. It's a very basic sample program they've made to show what the SDK can do.

why are you encoding into windows media, its not the best tbh..

Because I want to watch stuff on the 360, and it seems to be the best way if I want to keep my HD and 5.1 sound.
