Hay i just notice a lot ghosting going on when watching pitch black :(

So i test a few more dvds and the same thing.

Not sure if cose my x1950 gt using dvi cable maybe ?

cause never happend on my 7800 using vga as far as i know.

Think could be cable or maybe a setting in windows media player ?

Monitor a sync master 940Bw 19"

And i not seen ghosting in games yet but i try some in a bit to make sure.

Thanks for any help.

I'd suspect it's codecs.

I'd uninstall the ones you have and download a trial of WinDVD or PowerDVD and check if that works any better.

X1950 here as well and the same problem but the way I found to get rid of it was to disable hardware acceleration in the video options of you playback software of choice. Don't know if Media Player has this option though or not as I mainly use VLC (which has no ghosting problems).
