Windows Media Player 11 Bug/Trouble

Hey all,

For some reason ican't get my WMP to run on my setup, i've installed it many times, validated it etc etc but it just doesn't run.

When ever i double click the icon nothing happens :S

bit vague i know but any ideas ?

have you tried another windows account? windows all up to date? no nasties lurking anywhere?

i havn't tried another account cos there is only one account on this cop and always will be ME !

windows is all up to date and i did a virus scan this morning :S

well create a new account then. it's part of the trouble shooting process. your profile might be borked somehow.

well i've gone into control panel and then user accounts and the window that comes up is just blank.

i've tried it in safe mode aswell and its the same thing so i'm guessing my windows is borked ?
