Windows Media Player 11 library problem

I'm having a few problems with adding files to my WMP11 library. I've asked it to search the 'My Music' folder and it does this but only seems to add about half the files. They are all in compatible formats and 'add files previously deleted' is checked so it should be adding them all.

For example in my 36 Crazyfists folder (5 albums in separate folders) it adds three of the albums by searching in the 'my music' folder. If I tell it to search the '36 Crazyfists' folder inside the 'my music' folder it then adds one more of the albums. If I then tell it to search the final album folder that wasn't added in the other two searches it then adds that one. I really don't want to have to resort to performing searches of each individual album folder in order to add all my music!

Has anyone heard of this problem and got a way I can fix it?

i get that also, if you drag and drop either the individual folder or drag the fold or HDD that holds all your music onto WMP whilst its open, it brings all the tracks in.

Ive got no idea why it doesnt work through the method you have mentioned (must be a bug), but drag and drop sorts it out for me.

I'd just started adding each album individually (and getting royally ****** off at the same time), I had no idea you could drag and drop, thanks a lot
