windows media player not picking up album info from the web anymore>

i used to chuck a cd in and it would download all the info asap and when i wanted to rip to mp3 it would all be there, this has not happened for a while now and i can't see an option for it, anyone know how i can sort this? it bugs the heck out of me!

library - more option - library - Retrieve additional information from the internet

If thats checked and its still not working, perhaps something is blocking the check... firewall / dnz?

well it#s more with cd's when i insert a cd it just plays it as unknown artist, but before it would grab the album art and tracks in seconds

Use EAC with the LAME MP3 encoder, and use the 'Freedb' music database.

Insert a CD, Database > Get CD Information From... > Remote Database

Hit OK, and your good to go.

Sometimes you may need to fill in the fields at the top of the window.
