Windows Media Player Ripping Cd's !

Okay,

So i've got a Laptop and i have ripped nearly all my CD's onto it when it has been offline !

When i do that on my computer and the computer is back online is searches and names the CD's what they are instead of Unknown Artist blah blah blah !

But for some reason the laptop doesn't and i got bout 50 CD's all called Unknown Artist Blah blah blah and i don't know what Cd is What any ideas why the laptop hasn't done and what i need to do to get it to do this ?

Isnt there an option somewhere to click "Find CD Data"?

There's much better programs for ripping your CD's than Media player , I use CDEX for one. I've known people rip using MP and it put's protection on to them and it's usleess to playe them on another PC. Some rippers have tagger's built in too.

You can turn off DRM in WMP options. But I agree there are better programs out there to rip cd's.
