Windows memory could not be written issue when Shutting down, I cant figure it out.

Does not happen all the time, I've done a full scan a few times and sfc /scannow but found nothing.

What have you tried already to fix it?

Do you have a wired or wireless xbox controller? first error I get when i google it is a thread on reddit saying that unplugging your controller or controller adapter stops it.

Ive done a virus can and sfc scan, I have a wired xbox controller.

I can disconnect the controller but I dont think I always had this issue before even when the controller was connected

I have this issue also, for the past couple of months. I do have an Xbox controller dongle plugged into the pc, and I might even have the Xbox software on my pc also. I don't suppose its an issue, but it would be nice not to see an error box on shut down.
