Hi All

We are looking at a solution for our warehousing which includes using Motorolla hand scanning guns with Windows Mobile installed.
We need remote access for support purposes to the guns as they will be on off site locations, looking at the OS software it has "Remote Desktop" I cannot however find any information on the net which suggests how the device can be controlled by remote desktop.
Does anyone know if this is possible? or can you suggest anything that will give us remote access?
Thanks

The "remote desktop" in Windows Mobile (are you sure it's WM6? Most commercial devices run WinCE 4.0 for embedded devices) is a client, NOT a server.

To remotely control a WM device, the only thing I've ever seen is "Remote Display Control" which is part of Windows CE Powertoys. However this only works using activesync and a USB/Serial cable connection.

Yahh its mobile 6, just as I thought it appears to be client only for the remote desktop.
Ill look at other options
