windows mobile appointment question?

windows mobile question?
im using windows mobile 6 on my kaiser.

Now the appointments feature keeps letting me down as it reminds me to late,

For example its the 22nd today and i have a appoinment on the 1st of october buts not reminding me yet? i want it to tell me the next appointment i have when ever it may be in the future. Is this possible?

Im sure i could do it on my vario?

It may only look a week ahead or something. I have a reminder for today but if I change my date to tomorrow it shows my appointment for Friday, however I know there must be a cuttoff as to what the next appointment it shows and I don't think there is a setting to change it.

I'm using WM6 and HTC Touch Dual.

My apologies if I'm missing the point but, haven't you set the amount of time in advance that you wish to be reminded when you created the appointment?
