Windows Mobile mail server software?

Hi everyone,

Not sure where to put this really but the OS is Windows so I guess it fits here.

My scenario is maybe a little unorthadox.

I'm trying to access my email on my jailbroken ipod touch when I'm at work.
I can connect to the WIFI network using the touch but because it won't authenticate as a domain user, I don't get net access.

I also have a WM6 PDA which can authenticate and does get net access.

What I want to do is have the PDA download any emails via work's net connection then have the ipod pull the emails from the PDA via WIFI using POP or IMAP.

I want the PDA to act as a kind of mobile exchange server I guess.

Does anyone know of any software which has similar capabilities?

Probably a long shot but thought I'd give it a go.

Why don't you just forward any messages you receive to a mail server you can access?

Can't access anything on the work network from the ipod.
Pretty much all I can do is set up an ad-hoc wireless network between the ipod and the PDA as I'm pretty sure the docking station for the ipod won't give me web access via usb.

Well forward it to a mailserver that's not on the work network and you can access, then use Edge to pick up your mail.

Ipod touch only has WIFI, so no EDGE and the only WIFI networks in range are work's.

tbh i very much doubt youll find an email server app for windows mobile.
