Hi,
Just wondered how many have noticed or experienced this issue.
The Windows store Netflix app seems limited to a bitrate of 3000, attempting to increase it (On W10 not sure about 8) causes it to crash
3000 limits you to 720P to get 1080P you have to use IE/Edge where the Bitrate increases and the resolution sets itself to 1080P connection speed allowing
Has anyone else noticed this? I cant find anything that states the app is to be updated and this resolved by MS or Netflix and I prefer the App to IE as its a Media PC and its easier to select and use.
If you use it and aren't sure how to test just press ctrl, alt, shift and then D (might be S) on the keyboard while video is playing in Netflix and you'll see the Bitrate in either the app or IE/Edge (The latter displays more info inc the resolution)
