Windows not loading after overclock?

Hi all,

I have a amd sempron am2 1.8ghz processor. I overclocked it to 3 ghz, temperature not a problem but after 2.7ghz windows wont load although the temperature is really low, any advice?

Could it be my ram? Its kingston but i dont know how to set that up at all, i tried with the vcore upto 1.55v but winodws just wont load.

Anyone this is winding me up now, i mean the chip can see 3.5ghz on the stock cooler before the temps are worrying but windows is the problem.... Also i havn't set *** memory up yet so obviously i'm going to run into problems there

Well ive only touched the cpu, i slakened the ram to 15, 5, 5, 5 and i put the cpu to 1.45v. At 2.7ghz it will enter windows after that it wont. I can however boot into linux at 3.4ghz and test it and it is still stable! Another .2ghz and it will be a 100% overclock, just windows

Is it just that windows isn't stable itself or just that it thinks its a new chip?
