Hey,

I've got a problem with my new rig regarding HDD's.

I've got 4 hdd's in my machine, 2 are ide and 2 sata. Windows currently boots from one of the Sata drives and runs perfectly, unfortunately, in the 'My Computer' window, i can only see three HDD's. The two IDE drive and the Sata drive that windows boots from. see below:

However, it is being recognised by windows in the device manager, see here:

I've googled, but can't find anyone having similar problems, the only thing i can think of that could be causing a problem is the fact that they're exactly the same drive, but then again, that shouldn't be a problem.

Any help?

Westovski.

Start,
Control Panel,
Switch to classic view (if you havent already),
Administritive tools,
Computer Management,
Disk Management.

Has the disk been initialised? Does it have a drive letter (or letters) assigned?
