Windows not seeing my hard drive

After booting into Windows yesterday I noticed that one of my two hard drives (the one that doesn't have WinXP installed on it) doesn't exist anymore.
I haven't touched any of the internal connections, and it's present in BIOS. It's possible I may have deleted an important system file on the disc, although I don't even know if there is such a file that would mean Windows can't see the disc.
Also when I am presented with the boot options screen, my USB keyboard will not work anymore (even though it works in the BIOS and Windows) and I am forced to plug a keyboard into the PS/2 connector.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? It all seems pretty odd...

Right click 'My Computer' icon then 'Manage'. Under 'Storage', click-on 'Disk Management'. Does it appear there?

check your connections and check the drives with manufacturer's drive diagnosis software. also Does it show up on Boot Screen? ie is the drive being recognised by the motherboard.

possibility, a lose connection on your SATA or Power leads. at best.
HDD is blown out, then u have no chance of recoverying.
