Windows Office licence on Mac

Is it possible to use a Windows licence for a mac version? Or is there some sort of transfer where I can get it cheaper?

Not that I'm aware of as they are effectively different products.

Nope they are separate (mac office having a different year number to windows)

It's a shame as its harder to hunt to get a good mac office deal

unsure on your age, but software4students has the 2 licence Office 2011 for Mac for about £40 !

I got mine from a popular online retailer. Gives you 3 licences also which is pretty good for around £60. Not bad at all really.

They're different programs, but keys can be gotten cheaply enough, especially if you're a student.

Even if you are not a student then you may be able to get Office cheaply (and legally).

Some larger employers have schemes with Microsoft (Home Use Program) which allow you to purchase Office for home use at a greatly reduced rate. My employer does and we can purchase a copy of the latest release of Office for Mac for £8.95.

May be worth checking too ...

My employer has just started doing this, got Mac and Windows versions via it
