So im trying to install windows xp onto an integral ssd 128gb, after it reboots and takes you to the install screen it gets the installing devices stage roughly 35 minuntes left, then blue screens.
Now i have a couple of ideas of why its doing this but any help would be nice.
1 the integral ssd is a piece of crap and windows xp has problems with it, jmicron controller.

2 the fact the mobo has no vga/dvi connector and i have to connect through the graphics card.

system
1055t
asrock extreme3 870 rev2
6850 2gb
8gb ram( i took out 4gb to see if this helped)
128gb integral ssd

the only reason im trying to do this is because im a tight arse and wanted to upgrade to win 7 using a student upgrade copy.

also try to use a sata port that isnt on the jmicron controller, i'm fairly sure some will be straight to cpu.
