Windows opening on worng monitor

i have been messing about with my dual monitor setting, had ultramon installed and then decided to remove it, now my windows explorer opens in monitor 2, not my primary monitor 1, i have set my monitors to single display on monitor 1 and opoened and shut windows explorer window, windows usually will remember this is the monitor to open in from now on but when im back in dual screen it opens in monitor 2, everything else is fine and opens on monitor 1.

any suggestions how to fix this please

for atx load up the catalyst control scentre. go to display settings and switch the primary monitor to the opoposite monitor. dont know for nVidia though
