Got a bit of an odd one.
It doesn't lock up when under load and spends more time idle than under any heavy load.
used mainly for email and browsing.
thought it was a 4bay external drive causing the issue but I've removed that and it still does it (less) now.

are there any bugs in the last windows updates that might be the culprit?

M93P lenovo
256ssd
16gb mem
windows 10 pro

USB KVM
USB dock (4 bay HDD enc and 2 bay HDD cloner. these are only on when required)
USB hub (desk riser) kb, mouse dongle

will run a mem test when I get a chance but that usually ends in a bsod so not sure if that's the cause?

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance

Thats the problem right there, if you run memtest and you get a crash or errors then RAM is your problem.

Bad grammar strikes again :(
what i meant is I'm not getting BSOD and I haven't run a memtest yet.

I think it was comodo internet security causing the issue.

going to run the mem test now and see if it detects anything.
