Windows pen-drive

AS above, lame question time.

My son is building a pc and needs an o/s if he were to buy windows 10 pen-drive as shown in the link below, is this a loaded ready to run operating system or is it an installation on usb stick?

It's a USB stick you use to install Windows with.

Realistically speaking, you can't really get something with Windows already installed on and have it work.

Windows 10 retail comes on a USB to install it from instead of CD\DVD like they used too.

OEM version of windows 10 is the DVD

so the link is to the install media being supplied on a USB stick which you use to install the OS from
