Windows phone??

My partner has a Windows phone and wants to transfer her contacts of phone numbers and names on to a new Android phone she got for Christmas but we aint got a clue on how to do this.

The contacts are stored on the phone and NOT on the sim card. Is there a simple way to do what we need to achieve and can someone guide us through this please.

Do they appear on her Microsoft people? You can check this by logging into the webpage with her account then picking People, and see if the phone has them synced. If so then the easiest way is to sign in to her Microsoft account on the new phone, depending on which Android phone it is, you can set it to sync with her Microsoft account by default.

I did exactly this to move contacts from my Dad's Lumia 635 to a Moto G4.

I believe you can import contacts into Gmail directly from Outlook.com instead of having to use the exported csv file, but I exported from Outlook and then imported into Gmail (then sync Gmail contacts to your phone).

Sign in there and see if her contacts are automatically synced to there.

If they do then all you will need to do is sign into the account on the Android phone via Settings -> Accounts -> Add account.
