Hi to all

ok when browsing through my pictures in windows picture viewer, it seems to put a yellowish background in the pictures! open them in photoshop and everything is bright and clear, in windows viewer they all have a slight yellow background which makes the picture to warm for my likeing but its convienent to look through with windows at pictures going back years from diffrent camras.

iam useing windows vista 64 by the way, anyone know how you can get rid of this yellowish tinge that the viewer uses when displaying pictures?

cheers!

matt

I had this prob when I was on Vista, it was something to do with the Samsung LCD driver I got from Windows update (using a Syncmaster 225BW, not sure if it was a problem with other panels).

If i didn't use a driver for my LCD panel the pictures were fine in windows picture viewer.

Big Thanks :) that was really bugging me in Vista using a Dell 2005 back to the vista driver and all is fine.

Is it my imagination or do pictures look utterly crap when you zoom in on them using Windows Photo Gallery?

Even small pics looked ok on XP but they're terrible on Vista
