Is PowerShell worth learning to a decent level?

We have just deployed Exchange 2007 to around 7000 users and I have already used it several times for various bits and bats within Exchange.

We are increasing the number of 2008 server we have quite quickly and as we use a lot of VMWare we could also use the VMWare plugin for it as well as future MS software such as sharepoint and SCOM etc.

Would it be worth learning so that we can automate a lot of things as well as make some of the admin work much quicker and easier and how much effort would be required to get to a reasonable level with it?

Thanks.

MS are going to be sticking with it for a while, you may as well get friendly with it. :)

If any one can suggest any decent material i'd appreciate it as i need to start learning it myself.

Pretty good book, the only one I've got but I'm sure there are others, like O'Reilly ones which are usually pretty good.

Nice one Aldo, never realised technet had all those scripts.

Hopefully I can convince some of my colleagues that PowerShell is capable of a lot more than they think!
