Hi all, I need some help.
My Windows Pro x64 trial is going to expire so I bought an OEM version and did the upgrade installation. After a few restarts the setup got stuck on "installing peripherals" under the step "Installing Windows", the timers was stuck at 34 mins.
I restarted a lot of times, disconnected some un-necessary items, but it remains the same. The CD and HDDs werent spinning at all.
Anyone got any idea what is causing this? I cant boot into the x64 trial version now but I can access the partition from a Winxp x32 installed on another HDD, and I see some files and folders with wired names, $LDR$, txtsetup.sif and such. I wonder if I delete them, will I be able to boot into the x64 system?
Thanks a lot.
