OK here goes...

I installed something in windows that ****** up windows completely, cant boot at all. So i dug out a very old knoppix disc (3.9 i think) i had, in order to removed the offending program from my drive. However.....

I can't seem to delete the folder from the disk, but then this isn't surprising as i haven't a clue how linux or KDE works (no really...not a clue). The drive is readable (FAT32) but i cant change anything on it. I just have to delete 1 folder. What do i do?

i'm currently sitting in KDE at 640x480 at 60hz slowly being blinded by my moniter trying to fix this. Help!

Thanks all for the help. I got it sorted. It was available as an option on rightclicking the drive in KDE. I assume it automatically dismounts and remounts the drive.

It worked anyway, and now i am happily back in windows XP :)

60Hz and a hangover do not go well together.
