Hi all,
Trying to get my RAID 0 array up and running on my 2*250GB Samsung 850 EVOs (before it was on just one). Here's what I have done:
1) Created a system image of the original 250GB SSD, on external hard drive
2) Created a bootable DVD (to allow me to get into system restore - the one it prompts you to make when you create the system image).
3) Installed second SSD; create RAID 0 array with the two SSDs
4) Used DVD to get into system restore, and initiated a restore of the system image from the external hard drive.
So far, I've been leaving it to do it's own thing, but every time I come back after an hour or so, it's on the repair system screen, reporting that there's an error it can't repair. Presumably, it has completed doing the system image restore, tried to boot, crashed, and then gone into the repair system (from which it cannot repair).
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?
Cheers
