Hey,
I currently have a sonicwall with around 20 remote users. The sonicwall is an old beast now and I'm having all sorts of issues with W7 machines, along with some general stability issues.
I have a 2003 RAS server here working and is proving to be very stable for a few test users. I'm concerned with the lack of security to the network with RAS. Do any of you use RAS for remote access?
External staff only access email and an intranet program through RAS and therefore are never on the network (email soon won't require the VPN). I'm guessing with decent file permissions and ACL's I'll be fairly (note fairly) safe?
Your thoughts appreciated.
