Hi All

I was infected with a Windows Recovery virus yesterday and it managed to wipe out my Quick Launch bar. I've tried to re-create the toolbar using the New Tool bar method then pointing to the Quick Launch folder (which still has all my shortcuts in) but nothing happens. The only success I have had is by dragging each shortcut back to the Quick Launch bar but after rebooting they just disapear.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Andy

Bit extreme.. Just use the Windows Backup and Restore Utility and Restore System settings back to a date you know this wasn't a problem. Your data is not affected by the roll back.

I managed to get rid of the virus using Malwerebytes Anti-Malware and the only lingering problem is the Quick Launch bar problem.

Thanks

Andy
