Windows refuses to wake up.

Hey guys, recently ive been having a bit of trouble with my computer, it seems when the computer puts the screen to sleep after 20 mins and i come to wake it up the usual way of clicking the mouse or keyboard, the screen turns on but the display is black..Does this sound like anything i can fix easily? its a fresh install of Windows8.1 all upto date display drivers and i assume all MB drivers.

I have an issue similar to this and it was due to my CPU (i5 2550K) being overclocked past 4.4Ghz. Even though it is completely stable at 4.6Ghz it will not wake at 4.5Ghz
