I have a windows remote (shuttle pn31) and this used to work fine for me, able to use the mouse pointer and media player controls. Unfortunately, the volume control has stopped working (a few months now) and I've not been able to get it switched back on. The item is USB and has no drivers etc.
The sound is onboard realtek and I updated the drivers for this also.
Couldn't find anything helpfull on the web - hoping for suggestions here....
