Hi all, has anyone come across this virus before? It prevents me from booting into Windows and it's obviously a rogue Antivirus application as it asks you to pay for it. Other than a full factory restore, there's nothing else I can think off! I can put the HDD into a caddy and backup my files on another machine, but I rather remove it if possible and wouldn't want to backup any infected files anyways!

Spent all day on it and so far not found any reliable solutions. Many thanks.

Possable to run malwarebytes from safe mode?

I've run a full Malwarebytes scan, and it picked up nothing!

if combofix fails then try hitman pro
