Windows says I ahve only 2 speakers but knows I have 5.1

After moving my computer into a new case, I managed to confuse the black cable with the green one. When i turned my computer on, Windows only detected 2 speakers. I quickly realised my mistake and turned my computer off and switched the cables.

Now I have this

It's a minor problem really; the box on the left says I have 2 speakers yet selecting 5.1 in the next screen gives a definite 5.1 sound. I'm just afraid Windows will tell all my games that I have only 2 speakers.

Just try some games, it should be alright.

CSS for example has a surround sound test, could always use that to test.

Doesn't that 2 mean the item that is powering the speakers, not the number of speakers?

Ok I see. And about the CSS sound test; All the sounds seem to come from my front speakers. Only the CSS sound test though.
