I'm looking at mice for work so I can stop using my SteelSeries gear (I've already borked the mouse cable from moving it between PCs :'( now it doesn't work at certain angles) and found one but it's only got specific DPI options.
I currently use 600 DPI and default windows sensitivity (6) and looking to replicate this on the work PC. I found a windows sensitivity calculator https://notalent.org/sensitivity/sensitivity.htm and I'm just wondering if my maths are correct...
If I use 600 DPI at 6/11 in windows - would I get the same cursor speed if I used 800 DPI at 5/11? The multiplier for 5/11 is 0.75, and 800*0.75 = 600. To me - that means they should be the same speed. Just want to get a second opinion before I send the link to my boss?
