pls help

thanks in advance

Maybe not the best way but I did it by installing Windows Server 2003 and having a play around with it, once I had a basic knowledge then used the internet to look up topics and worked through them.

To the op - you have a decent PC so why not try VMWare and run Windows 2003 in a virtual machine?

If you have the time, disk space and memory you could setup a small domain on VM 's. Not sure about the license issues on VMWare though.

The basic VMWARE is free. Then just download a trial for 2003 server from the MS site.
