Does anyone know a way to clear the DNS cache every 24 hours on Windows Server 2008?

DNS sporadically seems to stop working, a clear DNS cache does the trick. Its windows server 2008 SBS.

Damn wrong forum! Mod please delete or move to Windows software for me?

well you could schedule an ipconfig /flushdns but this isn't the question you should be asking.

something can't be setup correctly if your having to ditch the dns cache every 24hrs

i assume this is just one server thats failing to resolve after x number of hours?

I had already done that and it seemed to help but still randomly happens.

OK. The other problem I had with DNS was caused by one of the client machines having a different DNS server to the others. (One of them was using the router for DNS, rather than the W2K8 DNS server). Worth checking?
