Windows Server DFS not replicating with one partner

As per the thread title, we replaced one DC that failed with a new one, re-installed DFS and the shares but it simply will not replicate with the head office/main DFS server.

We get the following errors:

Inconsistent configuration detected (invalid object).
Affected replicated folders: All replicated folders on this server.
Description: The DFS Replication service detected invalid msDFSR-Member object data while polling for configuration information. Additional information includes Object DN: CN=12402781-b349-4829-b080-0eb8b0ca5150,CN=Topology,CN=Branch Applications,CN=DFSR-GlobalSettings,CN=System,DC=the#####,DC=com Attribute Name: msDFSR-ComputerReference and domain controller: srv------.th#####.com. The problem is that the above two SSIDS can't be found in ADSIedit?

How can we fix a problem that we can't see, any suggestions?

Not sure, something somewhere (a GC?) is holding some tombstoned data of somesorts. Weird you can't find it in ADSIedit however.

Just a heads-up I would edit out the server info and domain info considering what kind of company you are.

I thought I had to be honest, shouldn't rush - thanks for the heads up!

I think we're in two minds to get rid of DFS now and just run robocopy jobs on a schedule...
