Hi all
Use to have my main PC and a server in the same location, backed up the files from my main PC over the network to the server no problems.
I've now moved but left the server where it was and need a way to back up the files on the PC to the now remote server. Both location have 80mb/20mb internet so using transferring over that should be fine.
I assumed the best way would be to setup a VPN from the server, connect from the PC to it and then just transfer over it to a network or mapped drive, rather than just open up the Server shared drive over the internet for everyone to see.
I've tried for month to get the VPN setup and simply cannot get it working, it's using Windows Server Essentials 2012 and the anywhere access facility built in.
Anyone got an bright ideas of how I can do this or any better options?
Thanks
