Many people know about "Windows VPS"

I would like to buy a Windows Home Server, buy it out right with decent specs, but want to be able to treat it like a PC.. If thats possible like the VPS.

Must be bought outright.. So wandering where is the best place and cheapest to buy it.

Can I just buy the Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011 64Bit, install that on my current PC, then use it like that?
