Windows SharePoint Services Version 3

Okay we have been using sharepoint v2 for about 2-3 months and everything was fine. On Tuesday night we upgraded to SharePoint Services version 3.

Everything inside our network works and connects to the SharePoint site but no one outside the LAN can fully connect

http://url.com/sharepoint prompts for domain user name and password then goes to page not found.

I see MS have put in some extranet settings but can't seem to work them out fully.

Any ideas?

have you fixed this, was going to upgrade ours tonight but may leave it for a bit now

Yes - It doesnt seem to say it anywhere but you add the external IP into Sharepoint V3
