My K7N2 doesnt seem to like over 200fsb, which is gutting as i got a 1700+ here that does 210fsb.
Ive got an A7N8X-e deluxe, anybody know what fsb this can go up to. Ive tested the cpu in my GA-7N400 Pro 2, and it worked fine at 210*11, was gonna try for 220@ 10 or 10.5 before windows crapped out.
Thats what im aiming for is 220fsb, but if the Asus cant do it will a NF7-s, Dont want to use the gigabyte too much pulling things apart.
And also when i change boards XP always plays up, in all my experience of swapping HDD's into diff pcs XP just wont load. Usually i would do a repair and voila but my XP disk is broke so i need to do it the proper way. IVe been told to uninstall all mobo drivers and other drivers from control panel, This seems viable but ive had systems where there was no mobo drivers and XP still didnt load. These systems had sound card/gfx drivers so does that make a diff?
