Hello there, just to clarify im not refering to Wsus (Windows Software Update Services) im talking about the prior release "Software update services"

Does anyone know how to move the "content" folder to another location without re-installing the program itself?

I know this can be done in Wsus using "wsusutil.exe" but i cant find any information for SUS.

Help would be appreciated.

:)

Any reason why you aren't upgrading to WSUS yet btw? It's pretty simple, and they happily coexist on the same server  , makes it simpler to migrate.

We currently managed arround 20 SUS servers each being updated from our central server which in turn pulls updates down from MS, we are currently looking to move our customers onto WSUS but due to the shear diversity of each site it takes a while to approve each update on a per customer basis considering the products updates avaliable through WSUS. Then we can look at migrating in one go.

In the mean time id like to be lazy and not have to re-install SUS on a particular server due to disk space issues.

:D
