Okay guys so today my brother got his new GPU and PSU, after installing these and coming on steam with me (steam voice chat) I noticed an extremely horrible buzzing/humming noise from his microphone. eventually we switched to Skype to see if that made a difference but it didn't. This buzzing noise only played through his mic when he was playing a game (we was playing CSGO and DayZ). Anyone had this problem before? know how to solve it?
Thanks - Duffin

Sounds like the onboard audio (if that's what he using), is picking up interference from the graphics card. The fact that it can only be heard when playing a game suggests the graphics card is the culprit, as it will be putting out more interference when it's working. It can be a fairly common problem. He will probably have to try a sound card, or a USB headset or microphone.

He uses on-board sound and a USB headset/microphone.
