Windows Sound Schemes Ultimate Extra

Just noticed this appeared in my Windows update yesterday.

Anyone know what they're like, any good?

Why not try it out? I installed them this morning but had to go to work so dunno how they sound.

I know the Ultimate Extras a meant to be exclusive to Vista Ultimate owners as I used to have Ultimate, but I now have Home Premium, is there anyway these can be downloaded from microsoft or anywhere else and installed another version of Vista???

probably just wav or mp3 files, so easily transferable

I'd zip them and post them here, but I don't know if that's allowed (copyright and all).

I tried them, but I still prefer the original Vista sounds

aye. they are just 2 folders in the media folder of windows, 1 called glass 1 called pearl.

Never really been into windows sounds. I don't have anything come out of my computer except music/sound from dvds or songs.

Are these ones worth keeping?

There is also a new Dreamscene content pack #3. Downloading now. Quite like the ice one and the Pearl sounds.

Depends what you like, I didn't really like them compared to the originals.
