Windows SSD : Superfetch, prefetch and drive indexing

Why switch them off if these services are mostly idle ?

File indexing - yes I can relate to this but Superfetch and prefetch too ?

Well it should make things slower. No matter how fast an SSD, reading from memory will always be quicker

That's interesting.... Why would HDD suspend cause damage ? I suspend to RAM a lot

Nah this sounds rubbish. HDD suspend shouldn't be a failing point for SSDs

Think of all the devices that suspend from notebooks, tablets to PCs

HDD suspend is too fundamental and important to get wrong

If you're going to faff around with moving windows temp and user temp then what's the point of having an SSD
