Hi guys,

I've just added a new Intel 80Gb SSD drive and installed Windows 7. I'm in the process of re-installing all my other software and want to tidy up the Start>All Programs menu as it was a complete mess before.

How do you guys mange yours? I'd like a few main categories and maybe sub categories under these if necessary eg the main would be:

Games
Business
Applications
Utilities

Sub categories might be:

Business > MS Office
Business > Photo Editing

etc.

Any suggestions?

Why bother?
Searching is easy now.

If you really want to, just drag and drop into what you want, isn't hard.

All my really regularly used things are on the taskbar, other well used programs are pinned on the start menu.

If it isn't used oft enough to be on your Taskbar or pinned to your Start Menu, just use the search. Creating folders and sub-folders will increase the amount of time it takes to find and click something, even if you know where it is. A search can get you there in just a few keystrokes.
