Windows "Startup" problem

I have Vista on dual boot with Win XP, and after messing with Partition manager (tried to create one drive out of two) Vista won't get past the green line (the one you see when booting up - and keeps rebooting up to this point, and tried safe mode etc wothout sucess ). I can access the Drive (D) in windows from XP, and was wondering if i could fix it there? (registry problem?).
