Does anyone know of a way to atually rip this rubbish out of windows? as in remove the software files from the pc. This thing annoys me so much, even disabling from control panel doesnt work sometimes.
I've googled it and all i can find is people saying the same thing over and over, disable it from the control panel. What i want is a way to totally remove it from windows. Anyone got any ideas?

If disabling via the control panel applet isn't working you are either not turning off the 'use shortcut' option or something is messing with your system.

when the box pops up, under the sticky keys section, click settings and untick the first option "use shortcut".

then you can hammer the shift key away to your heart's content without being bothered ever again. if this doesn't work, you have issues, not your pc... :p
